Dementia and neurodegeneration increasingly affect individuals, particularly in Latin America, where circadian disturbances may play a key role in the development of Alzheimer’s (AD) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). This project aims to assess the impact of circadian health on neurocognition and dementia in Latin American populations. Using the ReDLat database, we will examine motor activity to evaluate circadian rhythms in participants aged 40-80 and explore their link to AD and FTD, addressing regional health disparities.
